At Rock Valley College, our leadership team operated the institution through a period of financial exigency while functioning without a state budget for more than two years. At Bismarck State College, we repositioned the institution as a four-year polytechnic while maintaining liberal arts programs, launched workforce-aligned degrees, closed underperforming programs, reversed a ten-year enrollment decline, generated record enrollment growth, freed $2.8 million from the operating budget, and improved the institution’s Composite Financial Index from 0.6 to 6.19.
